Volunteers play an important role in making the 4th of July Bicycle Parade a fun and successful event for our community. Opportunities are available for a variety of interests and abilities and time frames. Volunteer assignments may include assisting with street barrier setup and removal, participant check-in, helping decorate the event site, setting up pop-up canopies and activity areas, overseeing family and children's activities, serving refreshments, and providing general event support throughout the day. Some assignments may start as early as 7am to set up road blocks.
We strive to match volunteers with roles that align with their interests and strengths whenever possible. All volunteers are invited to attend a volunteer meeting on Sunday, June 28th, at the Riverbank Historical Museum, where we will review assignments, answer questions, and prepare for a successful event.
