Love Riverbank’s City-Wide Volunteer Day is an annual day of service that brings together residents, families, schools, churches, nonprofits, and local businesses to complete community-focused projects across Riverbank. From planting flowers and trees, to litter clean-ups, kindness rock painting, and beautification projects, volunteers of all ages roll up their sleeves to make a visible, positive difference in our city.
The impact goes far beyond the projects completed. Last year alone, over 300 volunteers participated in 14 projects that improved public spaces, supported local organizations, and spread kindness throughout the community. Each project helps create a cleaner, brighter, and more connected Riverbank while showing what’s possible when people work together.
We do City-Wide Volunteer Day because we believe small acts of service create big change. It’s about building pride in our community, strengthening connections between neighbors, and giving everyone a chance to be part of something meaningful. By serving together, we inspire a culture of kindness, volunteerism, and love for Riverbank that lasts all year long.

If you see a need, we want to hear from you!
Please note: Project approvals will depend on available budget, any required City/County approval (if the project is on their property), and ensuring we have enough volunteers — including a committed Project Lead — to bring the idea to life.
